For the past week or so I have had very watery, clear discharge. Sometimes there is quite a lot. It doesnt smell bad.

I thought it was just wee but am not so sure.

Anyone else had this? My waters leaked with dd just before I went into labour at 39 weeks but it was much more then this.

Is it normal? Baby is moving fine, bump is hard and nothing else to moan about.

Yep, I had it so bad, I went in twice thinking my waters had leaked

Thanks. I was starting to think maybe I should phone my mw. I think I will do some pelvic floor excercises tonight

oops, hit post before I meant to!

I was so sure it was waters the first time at 36 weeks, because I was on the toilet, knew I wasn't peeing because I squeezed my pelvic muscles and couldn't stop it! It stopped on its own after about 15 seconds but continued to be a bit damp. Went in to hospital for exam and they said just discharge.

It isn't unusual to have a heavy watery discharge in late pregnancy, or leak urine, or sweat more than normal. The thing to do if you are unsure about waters leaking is pop a pad on and lie down for 20 mins to check what is on the pad after that time (a rubbish, thick cheap one is best as they don't absorb as well as the slim ones and you can get a better idea of how much there is). As a rule, if you don't have to continuously wear a pad, it is unlikely that your waters have gone. Good luck
