2nd time round, how soon after baby engaged did labour start?

I expect it's been asked before, but I'm just wondering because LO is 3/5 ths engaged and I'm 38 + 4.
Do I need to get icing my christmas cake this avo!?

With DD2 I was 3/5 engaged about a week before she was born - but if I recall correctly it can vary wisely with 2nd children - some engage early and some engage just before being born. I'd get icing the cake anyway just in case!

i was 3/5 engaged from 34 weeks with DD , and she arrived bang on 40 weeks

Why am I on my 2nd PG and don't know what 3/5 engaged means !!

Now I need to know how engaged I am even though I don't know what it means!!

same as Lulu - except I went a week overdue.

my second was induced I would say she didnt engage until about an hour before she was born. They had moved me back to the ward to give up on the induction as I had already had the maximum. She was high up floating around happil when they moved me an hour later I was holding her in my arms!

sorry that shoukld be my third not my second (I get confused wayyy to easily) my second engaged about 3/5 around 34 weeks and stayed there until he was induced at 35/36 weeks
