Has anybody had a BabyBond scan?

Going for my gender scan with them at 3.30pm today, figured by having a private scan as well as the NHS one at 20weeks we'll get double confirmation of baby's sex. I've been told they have a 99+% success rate, but just wondering about other people's experiences please!

I went to the one in Cirencester with DS for a 3D scan (first time pregnancy, lots of money lol). They were fantastic - lots of time for you etc.

With DD I went to the one in Cardiff for a gender scan at about 26 weeks. NHS had said she was a girl but I quite wanted to know.

I found the experience lovely both times. I went because I have such horrible pregnancies - hyperemesis and sickness the whole way through - and other complications that they really helped me bond, remember there was a lovely baby in there etc etc.

If you have the money it can be a lovely experience

I recently went to the Richmond one to check my early pregnancy was viable before going on holiday! They were lovely. It was quite a random location and felt like a room on a floor of offices, but the sonographer was great and the experience was really positive.

Enjoy!

I had same as sambo2, an early scan to check my pregnancy was viable before we went off on holiday. It was lovely, they were really nice and we had a nice long long at our little bean

i had a 3d one and if the baby hasnt got his legs crossed and they can see the area then it is very accurate, i could see my babys testicles really clearly hehe i had mine at 28 weeks though so dont know if this would make any difference, they told me they guessed he was a boy when i had my NHS 20 week scan

Thanks for responding everyone! I'm so excited now! I'm going to the Heathrow one, though apparently its actually in Ashford...Tomtom I think! I'm glad you've all had such lovely experiences. Hope to report back the same thing in a few hours!

Well just got back. What a wonderful experience! Ladies were so lovely and spent so much time with us. Even gave me a sugary drink to calm my nerves beforehand! Along with the gender scan, also got the included 4Dpreview which was out of this world. So, drum roll....we're having a girl!! 3 very definite white lines and definitely no extra boy bits!

Ah, congratulations on your daughter. I have a BabyBond scan tomorrow to find out the sexes of my twins. I'm only going to be 15+5 so hope it isn't too early. My guess is I am having two boys.
