Does this count as spotting?

TMI alert. Just found out that I'm pregnant - 2 weeks past ovulation today. Ever since Saturday I've been having persistent lower back/stomach pain (dull ache rather than sharp pain) and possible spotting. Thing is, I'm not sure whether to 'count' it as spotting or not. Most of the time I don't see anything on the paper when I wipe, but if I examine myself internally (that's how I used to check my CM when I was TTC, so it's kind of second nature!), my fluid has a pinkish/brownish tinge some of the time. Does this count as spotting, and should I be worried? I didn't have any symptoms at all with DS, so I'm a bit panicky.

It could be, but IIRC you can get an implantation bleed at about 2 weeks - which is nothing to worry about. Not sure about the pain though and if you are worried I would speak to your MW.

Congratulations BTW .

Thanks. I'm off to book myself in with the GP in a minute, so I'll see if maybe he can refer me on to the MW a bit early.
