Is it in Inches or CM's?

I can't remember

I know its from the breast bone to the pelvic bone but I can't remember if its inches or cm?

We were out to lunch at a country hotel yesterday and this women asked how far gone I was and said I was big for 17 weeks, and that the baby must be a big one  she said she is an ex-mw so made me feel even more and I wanted to check but I can't remember if its inches or CM's? Its hard to judge as I was smaller with DD because she is my first and because of the 2 cord vessel!

measured in cm from top of womb to top of pubic bone, normally measured blind (so mw can't make it fit what she expects it to be!!)
but cm doesn't always equal weeks, you need to plot it on a chart which you may find in your maternity notes
not that accurate at this stage anyway
