Is it normal? 3rd baby and I know the more pregnancies you have the earlier you show - this is actually my 10th Pregnancy (7 mc's)

I was kinda hoping to hide it for a bit longer as we have DH's xmas do at xmas I will be 10 weeks then. Do I keep using a bobble on my jeans or go get some comfy maternity trousers?

Im pg with dc2 at the mo. I was struggling at 7 weeks and bought a larger size.

At 9 weeks I decided to try on my maternity jeans - I have never looked back. I also thought they made me look smaller IYSWIM.

oh dear, I'm in the same boat. I opted for maternity jeans as of last week when I was 8 wks and they really have been the best thing! I agree with mama above, I think they make me look smaller

I can't help thinking I must be growing a monster though

The first thing that alerted me to my being pregnant again before even missing period and taking a test was being unable to wear my fave jeans comfortably (well, that and constipation!)

I am currently 7+4 and this is my 3rd pregnancy this year (m/c March and July). But 6th pregnancy altogether - I have 2 children.

I look and feel huge already. I went out and bought some jeans in a larger size last pregnancy which ended in July (£5 in bargain rack at Asda!) so I am living in those at the moment when out and about and slobby joggers at home (or more often than not my dressing gown!)

If it helps, I put on 3.5 stone first PG (im only 5'2) and was a right wee porker!

Second PG (this one), I just blew up in the beginning. I was the same as OP at 6 weeks. I felt I had to tell everyone by 9 weeks as I was putting on so much weight.
I had the same horrible nausea as first PG where I had to eat every 2 hours or I was running to the loo wretching so there wasn't much I could do.

Convinced I was going to put on the same weight or more as last time I was pretty down in the beginning.

Im now 35 weeks and have only put on under 2 stone so will probably put on 2.5 stone max this time.

I remember reading on MN a lot about how everyone in 2nd and 3rd PG seemed to bloat/put on weight quicker in the beginning but it will settle down. You won't continue to grow at the same pace!

I had exactly the same... and first baby too. I was working abroad and couldn't shop so had to wear my jeans with elastic bands etc. on them for the next 6 weeks!

I haven't found pregnancy jeans so great actually (they always roll down on me) - leggings and trackpants have been my saviours!

Thanks all - glad to know I'm not alone.

DH brought me some 20% vouchers for new look yesterday and I know the big ones do nice maternity jeans so I will be going there tomorrow!

At the moment I hve bobble looped through the button hole nd round the button. Unfortuntely I hve no arse or hips so my already size 14 jeans hang a lot at the bum, going bigger will look silly lol

Sitting here reading this laughing as I type - I have my belt and top button of my jeans undone and am only 6+2!
2nd pregnancy, DS is 2y7m and I still had 2 stone of baby weight to shift from him! can't believe how much I've just popped out in 2 weeks - am looking forward to those comfy over the bumb yoga pants from mothercare already!

I'm now 8 weeks and due to get married in 3 weeks time. Its my second and like whensmydayoff am eating to keep the sickness at bay so am definately pilling on the pounds. Don't really want to announce it at the wedding but may have no option - dress is rather fitted!
