When to ring the midwife?

Do you ring the midwife and count the lmp or do you go off conception date and wait a bit longer?

I called my midwife and was given an appointment all based from lmp. Good luck and congrats!

With both my DCs the MW wanted to see me at 8 weeks (date taken from LMP) for a first chat and to take details etc. I also had my bloods done with DC1 at this time. but not until 12 weeks with DC2, though I had DC2 in a different town, so different policies. I'd ring the clinic and ask them to book you in for your booking appointment and they'll tell you what to do from there.
