Yup that's me!!! Call it the steroids, call it pregancy hormones...I do not know but i am the witch from hell
Everyone at work has 'had it' today and DH is next on the list if he doesn't bring me home a can of coke...
Any other witches out there? Wonder if there's a cure?

I'm horrible, there is a cure...First, you give birth, then you breastfeed, then a few months after stopping breastfeeding your hormones start to calm down a touch

She's named Sophia it's the nearest thing to Thea I could get away with lol!!

I'm melting in this heat and look about 38 weeks gone! Hope your little girls are doing ok (what a coincidence with Saskia in BB, least she's nice!)

Don't worry lockets... give it 3 months post BB and no one will remember least Jordan didn't have a girl and steal your name or something, then everyone would have been called Saskia!

I'm not due till October LOL!! I'm 23 weeks on Sunday...look like an elephant

He's a little sod, but a loveable one hope your little ones and you aren't melted into puddles like we are! Eugh I'd hate breastfeeding in this weather, all sweaty like!

mogwai · 23/06/2005 13:47

I'm 40 weeks today.

Most days am witch from the pits of hell. Occasionally am lovely scrummy wife who bakes filo pastry tarts for husband's homecoming from work.

Depends whether I've had any sleep.

fastasleep · 23/06/2005 13:48

Oh yeah that's another thing, can't stop baking...but the witch from hell seems to return before I get the chance to clean up!

I'm baking too! Oatmeal cookies at 11 p.m. last night and will make strawberry tarts tonight. Though why I feel compelled to stand in a hot kitchen in this heat is beyond me. Hormones?

Mogwai, I have nothing but admiration for you baking at 40 weeks in this weather!

fastasleep · 23/06/2005 13:55

Oh yikes hourly feeds... you poor thing, bet you have a heat rash and sucker marks!!!

SaintGeorge · 23/06/2005 13:57

I'm sorry, maybe the heat is winding me up, but this thread title really pi$$es me off

Saint George PML!...I feel your pain lockets! I remember expressing in weather a bit like this, that was bad enough shudder

fastasleep · 23/06/2005 14:05

Ohhhhh 'witch' I get it now, don't be offended, I think we mean the wrinkly warty fairytale kind that feed you poisoned apples..

SaintGeorge · 23/06/2005 14:06

So glad you find the fact that I am upset funny fastasleep. Keep laughing, I'll pi$$ off.

fastasleep · 23/06/2005 14:06
Shock
SaintGeorge · 23/06/2005 14:08

Sorry x posted with your 2nd message.

Yes it was the witch I was upset by. I normally keep quiet but I do find it highly offensive the way it is constantly used as a derogatory term.

ChaCha · 23/06/2005 14:09

That is exactly the kind of witch i meant!!! And i used it so as not to use a very similar word .. em..have i missed something though?

SweetFudge · 23/06/2005 14:09

Fastasleep, why is Saint George upset? Can you explain with the witch reference?

SaintGeorge · 23/06/2005 14:10

I am a witch ChaCha. The old fairy tale images are very insulting to modern day witches.

ChaCha · 23/06/2005 14:10

Exactly, am totally lost

Well, i had no idea i'm afraid. Only witches I've ever heard of are the type that you'd find in Macbeth or with broomsticks and cauldrons. Perhaps i'm not as cultured as i thought!! Well, am apologising now, you can tell though that it was quite innocent and no harm meant. We can turn this around though..i'm all for simplicity..i'd be interested to know more..I love learning..Love chacha x
