Hi I am 18 weeks pregnant with my fifth and had some bubbly movements from 15-16 weeks. I assumed these would get stronger as weeks went on but some days I don't feel anything at all and others some slight rumblings. should be experienced I know but am also very forgetful and can't remember if this happened in other pregnancies. anybody can advise would be grateful.

Normal normal normal.

Particularly normal to feel something and then nothing for a while or for it to be infrequent. You have to remember they're quite small in comparison to your uterus and can hide in a corner or behind your pubic bone. Plus, if your placenta is anterior you'll feel more movement later.

Lots of people feel movement earlier in subsequent pregnancies but it's just part of a spectrum and it's utterly normal not to feel any proper kicks at 18 weeks in 2nd/3rd/4th/5th pregnancies.

Hi hun, i am 18 weeks too and its my 3rd baby. I have the same sort of movements that you described, sometimes i feel nothing at all and i worry myself sick, then at oither times she makes up for it and doesnt stop moving! Its all normal at this stage, so i wouldnt worry too much xx

Thanks for your reassurances, I thought it was normal but its amazing how I forget so much about pregnancy and stuff like this.
