Hi ladies!

Not sure how much/what feeding equipment I need would you be able to help??

Am planning on breastfeeding so mostly just need my boobs and some good nipple cream / pads ect but think I'll be expressing too so guess I'll need some bottles to attach to the pump my friends given me..... got a sterilser too and it came with 2 bottles will I need many more if so how many???

Is there anything else I'll need that you think I'm missing..... feeling a bit clueless about the whole feeding thing!!

Thanks in advance

2 bottles plenty if planning on an occasional bottle of expressed milk, best to breastfeed only for the first few weeks before getting bogged down with the pump.

Shops will still be there a few weeks after baby arrives

Some feeding bras might be good, bravado ones are very comfy and are flexible with sizing, lansinoh lanolin in case of sore nips.

Get together a list of the helpline numbers for La Leche League, NCT breastfeeding line, and ABM line in case you need help. Kellymom.com is fab for advice too.

V shaped cushion handy in the early days to lift the baby up to boob height, but not essential, pillows off your bed will do fine.

And you can start attending your local baby cafe/breastfeeding group before the baby arrives, for a chat/support. Best of luck.
