Pain in early pregnancy

Hi

I think I am about 5 weeks pregnant. I am having some pain (fairly mild, achey) in my left hand side - lower abdomen, just inside my hip. It was on and off but is now mainly on and has also moved around to my lower back. Is this normal - I am very worried, should I be?

hey i had pain in the early stages too had scans to make sure everything was ok. if your worried just ring your midwife or doctor and they will probably book you in for a emergency scan. the best thing to do is stay positive and try not to worry. congrates on pregnancy

I had this with dd. It was in my left side and got quite bad. I had a scan and was found to have ovarian cysts that had gone by my 12 week scan.

If you are worried see you GP and ask for scan just to be sure.
