iCandy car seat adaptors

Has anyone got an iCandy Peach which they intend to use for only one baby (i.e. not in Pear or double mode) and got their car seat adaptors?

John Lewis ordered me the S shaped ones and said they are the right ones.

ICandy say I'm meant to have the straight ones, but JL say they don't exist on their ordering system.

So I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem and managed to get to the bottom of exactly which car seat adaptors they are meant to have - the S shape or the straight ones?? Reading the iCandy brochure doesn't make it clear either.

I'd also be interested to know what shape your car seat adaptors are if you are using one of the other iCandy prams in single mode.

I have an iCandy Apple and my adaptors are straight if that helps.

Have you tried the car seat on the Peach with the adaptors you have?

No, we haven't bought the car seat yet as we are still waiting for the car itself to be delivered, so haven't been able to test it.

Have you posted this in the pushchair section? Might get someone there who has a Peach?

I'll do that - I didn't know there was a section for pushchairs!

Like you we have just ordered the ICandy Peach from John Lewis to use as a single stroller, and they have ordered us what they refer to as the the 'upper/standard adaptors' to fit the Maxicosi Cabriofix carseat (these are the straight ones rather than the S shaped/lower ones). I worked which ones I thought we were meant to get by looking at the ICandy site: the info for the Peach does not help, but the Product features section for the Peach Blossom says 'Accommodates a rearward facing infant carrier car seat whilst toddler in upper seat forward faces', i.e. the carseat goes on the bottom, which would seem to infer that the lower adaptors are for the Peach Blossom and the upper/standard/straight (!) adaptors are for the Peach as a single stroller. So it sounds like JL you went to 'may' have ordered you the wrong adaptors, though not sure if this depends on the carseat you are getting (assuming it must be the MaxiCoi though?). When we ordered they said it was the upper/standard adators we needed, and as this tallied with what I had worked out I was happy with this. Hope this helps.

Thanks everyone, I've now got JL to order me the straight adaptors. Hopefully will have them soon.
