How faint the blue line please?

It is really really faint but I can just about see it under a bright spotlight particularly.

Or is that the track where the bright blue line would go if there was one?

I think its about 5 days til my period but am feeling sick, thats why I did it.

Well.......

when I did my first test it was a barely there line - so so so faint - and my boy is 1 tomorrow

Good luck!

Is it pinkish/purplish at all? is it a proper wide line, as wide as the test line, even though it's faint? if it's thin and silverish/transparent then it's probably just an evaporation line. Time will tell, though!!

lavenderkate · 23/11/2009 21:55

James its a clearblue test so it would be blue not pink I assume.
It is more grey with a hint of blue. Been back to check it twice since. It is just there left off centre.

Evaporation line you think?

Hmm, a grey/transparent line is usually an evaporation line, but if there's any blue in it I'd say it's a positive. However if it's really reeeaaally faint then it'd be hard to tell if it's grey or blue so my advice is get thee to a chemist and buy a digital test!

I had a mega faint line with my current pregnancy, dp thought I was going nuts as he claimed not to see it, but 4 hours later (and with evening pee, even!) I got a Positive, 1-2 weeks on a digital test.

Good luck, it sounds promising!

Be careful with CB, they do give blue evap lines, i have had one and it was even within the timescale.

Best to wait a few days and re-test.

Good luck

I did one the next day. It was negative.
still feel sick though.

Any chance at all do you think?

(Sounding desperate like this is making me think we should start to try again)

Even with 3 its an emotional rollercoaster.
Am 40 next year and after 2 mcs I stopped all the trying back in the summer and grieve for the last baby I wasnt going to get.

its thrown me now.

My very faint blue line - so faint that you could only see it if you held it up to the light and squinted - is now asleep upstairs and is one next month!

It does sound very promising, non?

Are you 'late' yet?

barbareebaa · 26/11/2009 21:32

Fingers tightly crossed for you

lavenderkate · 26/11/2009 21:49

Not late yet. But I could be testing rather early as I cannot work out when last AF was.

Boobs dont hurt though

Am not normally this neurotic, honest.

Ooh Barbareeba, did your little boy have a lovely 1st birthday?

OP posts:
barbareebaa · 26/11/2009 22:05

Lovely thanks! A few pressies, a trip to Granny's then we went to feed some very boisterous geese and ducks at a local beauty spot - very blustery but lots of fun!!

So sorry to read about your mc's. My first pregnancy (6 years ago) ended in miscarriage. It was very hard and I think of the baby probably every day, even if it's just a fleeting thought. You are very brave and I'm not surprised you are on tenterhooks.

I really do hope you get a strong positive result very soon!

lavenderkate · 26/11/2009 22:41

You are very kind.

I do have 3 wonderful dcs though so I am very lucky already.
