tens machine and backache?

im 26 weeks, can i use a tens machine for my severe backache?
ive used it a few times without even thinking as i know that can be used in labour. didnt think twice whether i could use it before?

Not before 37 weeks - you shouldn't be using it. I have found a chiropractor to be really, really helpful btw.
