Sorry ( SF vaccine again)... is it the general consensus that

by having the vaccination, you will also be protecting your unborn baby/newborn from swine flu?

Have been looking round on the net and can't find anything definitive.

Yes that's right. The baby gets antibodies in utero if the mother has either the illness itself or the vaccine in pregnancy. I haven't found anything definite on how long the protection lasts, but believe it is several months, and last even longer if you also breastfeed.
