A bit of a moan about pregnancy symptoms

I just need to have a bit of a complain to ones who will understand or to no one in particular about how awful i feel at the moment, anyone going through the same thing. About 8 weeks now...no appetite so get really starving but i just don't fancy anything at all, I can eat toast, potatoes, pasta (lots of 'white' food), or potato waffles! But have to eat little and often. Have been sick on a few ocassions, and have the nausea and exhaustion....welcome to pregnancy!!!

I don't know how will I carry on working and looking after DS1...housework fallen by the wayside, want to sleep all the time...just have to say though I have a very supportive DP who is being generally wonderful and looking after me. Taken the day of work to rest.

Have to remember hopefully it'll only last to 14 weeks, and have to keep telling this little seed in my stomach that it's very very much wanted!!

Hello - it's horrid isnt it? I felt exactly the same as you. Especially re the white food. I lost a stone in a month. It becomes very tiresome but does go. I felt slightly better at wk 13 and significantly better now at wk 16. I found eating little and often the best rule to follow. Eat what you can and don't beat yourself up about it. Make a prenatal multivitamin. Boots always seem to have 3-4-2 offers on these. Hope you feel better really soon xx

I'm with you on this one - I'm 9+3 and feeling awful.

The nausea is constant, I spend ages retching over the toilet, and I know I would feel better if I could actually be sick.

I'm constantly exhausted, I have a 22month ond at home all day who I feel I am totally neglecting (just to add to my feeling awful) and the house is getting dirtier by the day.

We haven't told anyone yet and that makes it harder as I can't ask for help from anyone, but we don't want to tell anyone until we've had a scan. I also have 2 other DCs who are both at school during the day and fairly self-sufficient thankfully.

Every morning I wake up and feel I have a gigantic mountain to climb before I can go to bed that night. This will be my 4th DC though so I do know that it will get better but atm I can't see any way of reaching that stage.

God I hate early pregnancy, I know I should be feeling like the luckiest person alive but I feel too bleeuurrgghh to even go there!

Fingers crossed you start feeling better soon,
xx
