Hi ladies. Im suffering here. I had piles in my last pegnancy and they were really really painful. They bled a tiny bit on and off but were just painful really and then they cleared up on their own.

This time, im nearly 35 weeks and have them again. They are not as painful as last time but they are bleeding and feel/look bigger I have checked them (tmi!) and can see where the blood is coming from but it seems to be quite a lot and im panicking It just feels sore really and every time i check, they are bleeding. I thought they were better this morning after using anusol 3 times but then i think i caught them while in the shower earlier and now they are bleeding quite a lot again

I guess im just looking for someone to say they have had it the same or worse than this and all was ok in the end!! I know it sounds silly but im a worrier and am losing sleep over this I think im worying because they were much more painful last time but never bled like this. Tell me it is ok! please

Thanks for reading!

hi maybebaby23, I suspect my piles is back again after my recovering from it two months ago. Although the condition not as bad as yours, but it was bad enough that it hurts when i walked, sit, stand, lie down... etc etc. So I do have the sympathy for you.

What I did last time to soothe it is using cold pressure. I 1st used cold water to spray for about 10mins then I use ice pad. I feel better the next day. I thought pelvic floor exercise does help too. Hope this helps you.

Be strong though, not long to go for you.

Ask your MW or GP - there are things they can prescribe (Proctosydel - sp?)
