Hi
i was on iron tablets all through my 1st pregnancy. I have managed to get to 32 weeks before needing them this time. So dont worry and take them they are safe.

hey, yes they are more than safe , I was recommended them by midwife after finding my iron levels on the lowish side. They helped me gain my energy back after the morning sickness
Hope all goes well xx

Hi Sue10

I was put on iron tablets in 2nd semseter with DS although iron leels never showed anemia and they made a world of difference to my energy levels.

As soon as I found out i was pregnant this time (now 18wks) I asked the if I could go straight on iron and he said that was fine and they have made the exhaustion more bearable - just one nap a day in the 1st trimester rather than continuouswanting to be asleep.

If the doctor has prescribed them don't worry and enjoy the benefits!
