No signs of PE but feel like I'm going to explode...

My skin feels like it's going to split, I have such terrible water retention. I had it with ds too I think (lost 2.5 stone in ten days after he was born). I can't take my rings off, have huuuuuge sock marks on my legs, feet have gone up a size and a half and my legs feel like the skin is going to split like sausages on a bbq.

I keep mentioning it to the mws but they don't seem that interested as there's nothing wrong with my urine and bp is fine.

I'm properly hydrated, drinking plenty, eating well. Otherwise healthy, just feel like I'm going to explode.

I can sympathise - feel very similar. Force yourself to get your feet up every 20 minutes and rotate your ankles like crazy for a few minutes. Since doing this my swelling has come down considerably. Refuse point blank to stand for long periods. Stick your hands in some really cold water and use some soap to get your rings off - then leave them off. And drink and drink and drink...

Thanks weegle... I will try and walk about. I'm sure getting my blood pumping will help. I'm at work at the moment, and pretty much rooted to my desk (out of necessity rather than choice) so that probably isn't helping. I can't even put my feet up on the desk to let some of the blood drain out because I've damaged my coccyx so sitting back is terribly painful. Great for my posture, terrible for my poor puffy legs

I've been drinking quite a bit of late, I think I may have lost a bit of fluid last week when I feel hard down the stairs (hence sore back) and I have a sneaking suspicion that I'm busily replacing it. Today I've had over 2 litres of water, plus some fruit juice and a couple of large cups of fruit tea.
