Oh this old chestnut, I know!

I think the unknown just drives me nuts though.

My PG with DS....Fell PG immedietely on ovulation day
sick from week 5.5-12
depressed from week 6-11
from week 14-end, feeling of contentment, happiness and much more laid back than normal.

Look much the same although had previa with DS so couldnt exercise and put on more weight understandably.

This PG is identical minus the medical complication.

EVERYONE say's im having a boy. Driving me nuts now, can I not have a surprise!!

Yes.

Pregnancies no.2 and no.3 were virtually identical. One was ds2, and the other was dd. Everyone thought that dd would be a third boy.

TheMightyToosh · 20/11/2009 17:11

Yes - 2 virtually identical pgs here = one girl and one boy.

bumpybecky · 20/11/2009 17:16

yes

second pregnancy was very different to dd1's, so assumed dc#2 would be a boy, nope - had dd2

third pregnancy very different again, so again assumed dc#3 would be a boy, nope - had dd3

fourth pregnancy was the same as #3, so assumed dc#4 was a girl - nope had ds!

interestingly #3 and #4 that felt the same both had anterior placentas (placentae?!) so maybe that's why the pregancies felt very similar

Im the other side of the coin. My pregnancies are completly different.

Dd is 17mo and my pregnancy was great. This time I have been sick, tired and miserable - I am having another girl!

Everyone is telling me Im having a boy (we havent told anyone we know its a girl!!) so smuggly I say 'well we will have to wait and see' He he!!

Different pgs and had two girls.

Different pg's two girls

Pretty much identical pgs and had one of each.
Mind you, could have knocked me down with a feather (had I not been down already) when DD popped out. Would have bet my life on her being another boy. Took us 3 days to switch to saying 'she/her' and to find a name. Only had boys ones sorted.
To put it into context, 20 of the previous 22 babies in DH's extended family had been boys.
Can't tell you how FANTASTIC is is to have one of each.
And ignore everyone who 'has a theory.' All of them are complete bs.

Well I'm only 20 weeks with no 2 but so far identical. One boy, one girl!
