Having decided we'd like to know sex of our baby at 21wk scan, we arrived to be told that baby had the cord between legs covering it's bits so couldn't tell the gender! Poor sonographer tried for ages from different angles and still no luck. She told us that really couldn't be sure either way, but because she didn't see any dangly bits it was more likely a girl! Has this happened to anyone else?
We are particularly impatient so I've just booked a Babybond private scan for the weekend, hoping the cord will be out of the way! How likely does anyone think baby is to have flipped legs over and changed positions to the extent that we'll now be able to see? I'm worried now paid that this won't be v likely.
Don't get me wrong, our main priority was that baby healthy obviously but we just so impatient to know if pink or blue!

4d scans are usually pretty good at seeing everything. If they cant see it they will probably send you off for a walk to get the baby to move.

Good luck

I am very impatient and with our first child insisted we found out. With our second DH didnt want to know so i we never found out.

Im happy i dont know now and feel sort of proud of myself for not knowing and needing to be organised. It also may push me on through the labor if i have a little surprise at the end.

So if you cant see on your next scan, never mind its not meant to be and the lttle surprise at the end will be worth it x
