is it normal to get pain around your bellybutton

im 15 weeks and 3 days and have had some pain around the belly button area and some pain in pelvic area on left side? is this normal in pregnancy as i am recovering from a kidney infection! replies would be very appreciated thanx charzie

sounds like ligament pain to me where everything is stretching. Hope you feel better soon!

im 28 weeks and had a similar pain through my belly button at the weekend, had an antenatal app on monday and tested positive to a urine infection. my midwife said the pain was a common side effect, hope this helps and you feel better soon.

I had this too, when i checked at midwife appointment. She said it was baby getting settled in the same position for too long. I would just gently rub and encourage baby to move. I found it would hurt if i was stood ironing and had been in same position for to long

I had this same problem. Don't worry, I was told it was normal stretching pain. I'm 25 weeks now and everything is settled
