I just don't seem to be able to stop drinking water night and day. I wake about four times a night to drink and have to drink constantly during the day.

Anyone else had this?

Id def tell ur midwife about this as thirst can be a sign of diabetes... That being said i could not stop drinking milk for the last few wks of my preg and would go through a min of 2 litres a day plus water and juices... But id be up and down outa bed all night getting drinks and weeing every hour as a result of said drinks... best of luck by da way, getting close

I am 38+1 and also am drnking similar amounts. I drink quite a lot of water when not pregnant too, and so for me, this isn't excessive (I don't think). I am currently waking 4/5 times a night for the loo etc and always need a drink every time. Perhaps just the baby takng the fluid too and as you're going to the loo more you need to replenish your fluid levels? Tha's just the conclusion I came too - sorry that's not very helpful!

Thank you. Good to know I'm not alone.

I have been drinking water like mad too, especially in the first trimester and its getting stonger again now (30 weeks). If I dont I have dark pee so I guess I just get dehydrated.
