weak stomach muscles

Any midwives around to give me some advice?
I'm 16 weeks pregnant with my third baby, and my stomach muscles feel really weak. I struggle to turn over in bed, and today I've found my lower back is really aching as if I have a massive bump...which I don't, yet!

I feel as though just moving around is taking a huge effort. The difficulty turning over started really early.

I've never had this before...I mean, slightly, when I was heavily pregnant, but not to this extent.

Anyone with experience? Any suggestions? I'm seeing my midwife next week but wonder if I should go to my GP sooner.

My tummy muscles became really weak quite early too even though i didn't have much of a bump. And all the common complaints arrived early with me too but as it's my first i had nothing to compare it against. I think some pregnancies bring more suffering than others... having said that i am in no way shape or form a medical professional. I can't work out why now @ 35 weeks i am hobbling around like a granny with bad hips, back and balloon feet/ankles when my bump isn't even that big and other people a lot bigger are doing so much more and claim to be feeling okay?

Well, glad to hear I'm no the only one! I think I'll mention it to my midwife when I see her.

I would advise a control corset.

Your midwife may be able to help?

I had a fab one from agent provocateur but gave it away to a frind .
