I've never given birth vaginally and never had a problem with my pelvic floor.

I'm now 26weeks gone and everytime I finish weeing I stand up, take a few steps and a bit more wee comes out unexpectedly.

What's all that about then?

Even if you have never given birth vaginally your pelvic floor will have beeb weakened both by previous pregnancies and by this current one.

Really? How can that be?

Combination of hormonal changes and downward pressure, it's not just a matter of stretch during birth although that is a very big factor. I speak as a vetern of 2 c-s myself. I was constantly ' leaking' a little in my second pregnancy from quite early on. Completley resolved for me asfter brith though.

(Saw this last night but went to bed before posting sorry!)

What i read somewhere was to wee, then rock backwards and forwards, then wee again. Does that make sense?
(meant as a tip to reeeeally empty your bladder so you can sleep for a bit longer )
So you almost rock the baby off your bladder then onto it again, all about the pressure.

Oh and practice your pelvic floor exercises

I thought this was something to do with a Sky Box and had been posted in the wrong topic
