14 weeks and heavy bleeding

My daughter in law is 14 weeks with her fourth baby and has had heavy bleeding for over a week, she has been back and forwards to casualty as recommended by midwife, they will not do an internal but has so far had 5 scans and baby is well. She is losing a lot though including clots and its all a mystery. No pain but just keeps feeling it "rushing" out but no-one seems to want to do anything. How much blood can she keep losing before she is aneamic (not sure how you spell that!) If the cervix is closed where is the blood coming from? Anyone got any ideas, she cant exactly lay down with 3 others on the go.

No ideas I'm afraid but didn't want you to disappear from active conversations so am bumping. All the best to you all.

It is good she has been scanned throughout and the baby is fine. Maybe next time she goes in, she could ask to be checked for cervical erosion. It must be very worrying. I would say to make sure she is taking a multi-vit with iron (eg pregnacare as that has the right amount of iron for pregnant women).

I need someone's advice or help, I really really think I'm pregnant,. my boobs hurt, I have nausea, and I just have a feeling! But I've been on the implant for around a year, and I still occasionally get weird but heavyish periods.. Can anyone help?Confused
