am goin nuts with worry over my hcg result pls help

have been cramping since yesterday tk hcg test on tue at 5wks 2days d result cm bk as 133 had another test today waiting today 2 get d result on mon but am so worried someting is wrong. Pls talk to me. Tanks

As long your HCG is increasing (doubling) things are fine. Don't think too much about the initial level as it won't mean too much without the 2nd result. Hope all goes well.

Cramping in early pregnancy is very, very common.

Please try to relax. Cramping alone is not a sign of anything and a single hcg reading will tell you nothing.

Myjewel -- cramping in early pregnancy is very common. I cramped up until about week 8 so please try not to worry. If the HCG levels double then that is a very good sign. I was in your shoes not so long ago and I have never felt so stressed. Completely understand. Hang in there and try to stay as calm as possible....

hi, my hcg levels didnt double as they were supposed to and i cramped and spotted, im now in wk 32 of pregnancy. i know its hard but try not too worry.

I know its worrying but try not to panic. I bled for the 1st 3 months of my pg with DS and hcg wasn't doubling. Hospital even told me it wasn't looking good when they repeated my hcg bloods. However, all was fine and DS is now 2 and absolutely fine. be kind to yourself and try and relax a bit, I know it's hard when you are worried!

i will try not to worry but i have had 3 miscarriages over the last one year, done test and all they found nothing wrong, i have a beautiful daughter who will be 2yrs in dec but its been so awful during this 3 miscarriages two were diagnoised has preganancy of unknown location, so you see why i am so worried now the miscarriage was at 9weeks and the other two 6weeks. even the other two at 6 weeks i never had my hcg at 133 at 5wks 3days which makes me worry there is something not in place! Am really hopeful. when i went to the fertility clinic the doc said we will be fine but that if a miscarriage should occur again( making it 4 then he will do something how wicked!)

Hcg result back today and it doubled to 397 but i feel that does not look good for a supposedly 5wks and 3days pregnancy anyone had this kind of experience am still discharging brown stuff.

HCG MORE than doubled - that is great news as it suggests the pregnancy is viable. A slow increase would have indicated ectopic. When is your next scan?

Note how massive the range is. I wouldn't worry about the actual levels at this stage until scan confirms all is ok (which it should).

my scan is on tuesday praying i dont die of anxiety before then but i have faith that all willbe and all is well. But do you think they will see something on tues? not so sure

I guess you will be around 6 weeks - possible you will see heartbeat but don't be upset if you don't as it is still very early.

hi myjewel, the fact that you r discharge is brown rather than red suggests it could be implantation pain and bleed and i also had days where i didnt feel pregnant. it a horrible and worrying time. wishing you the best of luck.

Finally i went fo the scan on Tue and yes thee was a sac but it was too tiny and it was measuring 5 weeks and 3days (9.9mm) they could see something inside maybe the fetal pole but it was too tiny to see, however that put me a week behind, furthermore i was told the shape was not exactly round that it looked like it was a collasping sac!, i cried my eyes out, but i was booked for another scan next week to see what happens. however because of my previous miscarriages i had a scan today thur and guess what they saw another sac with a little fetal pole it measured 5weeks and 4days (8.7mm) while the previous one measured 5weeks and 6days (10.8MM) at one point the midwife was confused said it could be blood clot and maybe twins but she said it was not ok for me to be mesuring one week behind. I had hcg done today and scheduled for two scans next week. I am trusting the almighty to do his magic and let his name be glorifed if am having twins then for them to be healthy and normal. Has anyone had any experiences as i am confused and dont know what to expect. PS i still spot evey now and then and when i lie on my right hand side i camp and spot. they have ruled out ectopic checked the ovaries and all.

Gosh this must be causing anxiety. I find it staange that she said it wasn't ok for you to be measuring 1 week behind because not every healthy preg is text book perfect. I was measuring 3-4 weeks behind and so I was certain it was over but 1 week isn't a big deal. Even though I knew my scan result was bad news, every single medical person (including 2 senior consultants) said that I shouldn't worry so much about measuremenst as I didn't exactly know when conception took place (i did as i was trackng ovulation). Maybe she was being pessimistic because of your history? Your HCG was looking good and at 5-6 weeks, not much can be seen anyway. Try not to worry so much. At the mo, I say you are pregnant (possibly with twins) until proven otherwise! Is it still brown spotting??

thanks so much sh77 d spotting is on and off sometimes brown or pink and smtimes i get nothing most times i noticed d spottn comes with my lyin on my right, and when i have done a strenous activity. Am sorry bout ur loss what really happened and are u preg now?

i know how you feel. im 4 weeks and my hcg levels are only at 47, i have also had cramping.
they are going to repeat the tests on friday, hopefully there will be some improvement and im hoping the same wit yours too. good luck

p.s i know its really worrying, but try not to get too stressed out. its only your 1st reading and cramps are common in early pt
