Got my BFP this morning, and already am finding it hard to not blab to my colleagues - I have such a big mouth.

Help!

I managed it before with DS1 but it felt different then - like me and DH were the only ones who knew and that we were wandering round in a world of our own. It was romantic, first time, but this time it's exciting but feels less special.

Anyone else find that with their second pregnancy?

I got my last BFP at this time of year, I saved it for Christmas so I didn't have to do smalltalk about it. Just put little cards inside giftwrapping so they'd be opened on the day, saying from W,X,Y,Z+bump due Aug.

Ooh, thanks Poinsettia! Have joined the thread, and love your idea about the cards. I'm a bit superstitious, and wouldn't be 12 weeks until new year's eve, so probably won't have a scan until w/c 4 January... think I'll have to leave out the bump bit this time (not sure if there will actually be a next time!).

But might think about doing that for family on Christmas day

hi I'm new to all this - what's BFP? I found out I was pregnant a couple of weeks ago after 10mths trying so ecstatic and keeping everything crossed, we told our immediate family and 2 immediate co-workers so they knew what was going on, but really want to tell EVERYONE! At least I should hopefully be able to blab around Christmas (assuming there's good news to tell after the scan...) After 10 days of queasiness I'm still delighted but not on cloud nine quite so much, and a bit 'foetused out' having read every article going on foetal development at this stage! Susie
