Baby measuring small - But have gestational diabetes?

Been for a scan today as got diagnosed with gestational diabetes 2 weeks ago. I am 28 weeks and they said the baby is measuring nearly 27 weeks, should i be concerned about this? I am worrying because i know diabetes babies are supposed to be bigger

I wouldn't worry honestly - my DD measured a week small all the way along and then ended up being a belting 8lb 6oz. They wouldn't worry about you measuring a week or two in either direction of the ideal, as it were.
GD sucks though - there are some good support threads knocking around.
