I am currently 25wks pg with dc3.For a few weeks now I have been having problems with dizzy spells/fainting.I am also getting a lot of tingling/pins and needles. Its really starting to worry me now as I am passing out regularly, earlier today I came over all dizzy then felt tingly and was struggling for air and next thing i had passed out. since then my whole body has pins and needles all over.

I have also been having a lot of problems with sciatica/lower bag and leg pain and wonder if it could be related maybe due to baby lying on nerves? My last mw appt was 6 wks ago,at that time I mentioned the sciatica but not the other symptoms as it wasn't too bad then. I'm due to see mw again on friday and wonder if I should mention it or if it's nothing serious, she didnt seem the least bit interested in the sciatica problems and i came away feeling like an awkward customer!

i think you need to bypass the midwife and seek medical help today if you are regulatly passing out and breathless
it might be a combination of things, it might be BP and aneamia related, or it might be something else entirely

it needs adressing as a matter of urgency and i would call the GP or antenatal ward immeditaely to be assessed

yep, don't wait for the midwife if you are actually losing conciousness you must present yourself at the antenatal daycare/assessment (ring them first and take your notes)

You need to contact the GP ASAP, you are passing out, that is not good.

ReneRusso · 03/11/2009 17:52

I agree, see your GP or go to day assessment unit at your hospital
