today i was carrying ds and slipped on some soggy leaves, falling down on to my butt, fortunately my arm cushioned ds's head so he was shaken but OK.
Upon standing again i had some twinges in my bump region.
I have since felt the baby move and have had no bleeding or unusual symptoms apart from the sensation of pulled stomach muscles.
I keep telling myself the baby was well cushioned with fluid etc and that no bleeding can only be a good sign.
Just after some reassurance I suppose, but has anyone had a similar fall when pg?

I didn't myself but I know someone who had a really nasty fall at this time. All was fine. The baby is well -cushioned but if you are at all concerned just get checked out. IME midwives really don't mind this sort of thing.

I fell downstairs - 6 stairs - banging my bum on each one when I was 20 weeks pg. Baby was fine. Because I didn't bleed or anything didn't mention it to midwife. However, I did start to suffer lower back pain a day later and it turned out i had sprained my pelvis. I didn't even know you could spain your pelvis! Needed some acupuncture later on in pregnancy as baby got heavier but it was ok.

If you are worried contact your MW but try not to worry too much.

Glad you and DS are OK.
