Raspberry leaf capsules

Does anyone know how many you should/can take a day? I tried the actual tea, but I couldn't stomach it (quite literally!) so am resorting to capsules to get this baby out (38 weeks now with severe spd). On the packet it says 3-6 times a day with food, but I'm not sure if this also applies if pregnant!

Any help gratefully received.

The manufaturers will be expecting it to be pregnant ladies who are taking it, so I would go with the maximum recommended dose. I took 2 caps per day but they would've been a different make to yours.

I also did 2 caps a day. 3-6 sounds a lot but depends what strength I suppose. Didn't work for me btw but suppose anything is worth a try - that's how I felt anyway. Went to 41 + 6 and 2 sweeps!!

Thank you! Think I'll stick to three and hope for the best! Thankfully I know I won't go to term because of the spd, but I'm just hoping that the raspberry leaf and the pineapple with do some magic so when I'm induced (probably next week) it will be a quick affair, rather than the 5 days it took with dd!!

I am 39+5 and have been taking 6 a day for the past 2 weeks- I am desperate to try anything to make this labour better than the last one! I have been having braxton hicks but don't know whether thats down to the rasperry leaf or not.
And a word of advice on the pineapple- don't overdo it. I bought one at the beginning of the week and (unintentionally I must add) ate it all in one go because it was really sweet and tasty. Well, I suffered the next day, running to the toilet and being sick. I was getting mild contractions but they died off. But it just made me feel so horrible I actually didn't want to go into labour feeling that bad. So just a little warning on that front!
I'll keep my fingers crossed that everything goes OK for you, I'm sure you are as desperate as I am to get your bundle of joy into the world!
