Does anyone have any experience of this? It happened a bit yesterday, then stopped but this evening it's far more insistent. I'm not sure if they are maybe Braxton Hicks contractions? They aren't particularly regular, but they are a combination of a strong downwards pressure which last for ages and sharp stabbing pulse in the midst of the pressure (but not always).
All other baby movements (kicking, elbowing, doing the mambo) are the same, she's still squirming around in there as normal. She was 2/5ths engaged last week if that makes any difference.
So, should I be worried at all? Is this normal?
