Jane Carrera Matrix - anyone used?

Have anyone got the Jane Carrera Matrix car seat and worked out how it goes in the car? The instructions are really not very clear and I think I've done it right but would really like to check with someone!

I've fastened two seat belts then put the car seat in and threaded a loop from the lap part of the belt through the catch and put the red bar through the loop, pulled it tight. Done that on both ends, is that it? I'm concerned that it could tip if I stopped suddenly, should the long part of the seat belt wrap round anywhere? Or are there any other catches I'm missing? I'm totally useless at this kind of thing.

Sounds right. Just get it all as tight as you can.

You know when you take the seat out, you can leave the clips attached to the seatbelt? Remove them from the carseat by pulling the red plastic bit and fiddling it about!

just make sure the seat belts that you used to loop through the attachments are tight, as long as they are tight it wont tip

Thanks very much, I've had another play with it and I'm quite happy now. I had no idea you could leave the red clips on the seat belts, that will make things much easier

Whitie - we didn't realise about leaving the clips on the seatbelts until dd was 5mo and ready to sit upright. It has been so much easier using it this time with ds! The instructions aren't exactly great, are they?

But the seat is great.

The other thing to watch out for - when you use the carseat on the pram, and just put your baby in and put a blanket over. And then later you move the carseat into the car, clip it in and drive off.. and then screech to a halt and rush round and do the baby's waist belt up!
