Sugar in urine - What next?

Went to gp today with odema in legs, tested wee for protein as i had pre-eclmapsia with dd, protein was clear but was sugar in, said he will write to the midwife and maybe have to go for some tests. Anyone know what this means? Dont like googling in case scare myself

The test will probably be for gestational diabetes.
Not too scary but lots of control to make sure blood sugar is kept controlled.
