Irregular heartbeat in foetus at 32 weeks - anyone had this?

Had a check up with my midwife today, who detected an irregularity in the baby's heartbeat. The frequency was fine, but every now and then it would skip a beat. She said it's more common around week 25, but not week 32. I have to go to the hospital in the morning for monitoring and an ultrasound.

Has anyone else had this?

I was monitored nearly every day for the last 8 weeks of pg (a good way of getting to know your midwives). There were several problems and slowing of the heartbeat was one (of course, it occasionally became an extremely fast heartbeat just to confuse everyone).
DS was delivered early, but he's now a strapping 2 year old.

It is good you're getting checked - it may well not be significant, so don't worry too much.

Thanks Chaotica.
