Pregnant shortly after c-section - pain around scar

I got pregnant when my DS was 6.5 months. i am now 16 weeks and last week i went to the GP as I have soem kind of pain in my lower adbominal area.
Not sure whether this is scar pain or what. Gp was useless, did not examine me and said it must be because my womb is expanding.
When i am lying on my back and caughing or sneezing, it hurts or if i sit for too long..
does that sounds like scar pain?
if so, is it likely im going to suffer even more during labour??
if you had scar pain, when did it start and how did it feel?

Many thanks

I was pg after six months too and I think the pain you're talking about is stretching ligaments. It's at the bottom of the bump (if you have one) to either side? Feels like you want to massage it but it doesn't help? Almost like stitch? Nothing that you can do I'm afraid....it gets worse with every pg.

starwhoswonaprize - did you have a section 6 months previously too?

tostaky - Id go and see another GP if I were you. Yes you can get pains in those areas, I get them too but my section was 2.4 years ago and im 28 weks PG now. Im not worried as it was long ago.
With it only being 6 months though, Id want to know the position of the placenta (if you don't already know). If it's anterior or low, this pain should be checked out. Look at your notes from your scan to see if it tells you.

I had a CS with DS (born May 08) and another CS with DD (July 09).

I didn't have a moments problem.

Yes, I have had four! Two emergency (one GA) and two planned.
