I suffer from infrequent migraine aura when not pregnant - usually menstrually related. I had quite large increase in frequency in first trimester - which the doctor was comfortable with given previous hormonal link. I am 39+6 and have woken yesterday and today with migraine aura again. Is this usual for anyone who is fellow sufferer?

Hi. I regularly suffer with migraine - no aura- but when I had a migraine at the end of my pregnancy I was told to go to hospital so that my urine could be tested for protein and my bp monitored as it may have been a sign of pre-eclampsia. May be worth giving your gp/midwife/nhs direct a call. Had my baby (no intervention) 2 days later!x
