Stupid things you do when pregnant #373- ....and I wondered why there were no pregnant women in my aquanatal class last night!

Guess who had gone poolside without her glasses and joined in the aqua aerobics class by mistake!!!

Blush! I did think it was rather energetic for a pregnancy class and the man and geriatic women in the class should have been a clue- but trouble was I couldn't really see and the class had already started so I just hopped in and got in with it. Then I started to notice the lack of bumps (couldn't really see under water) so I thought maybe lots of people went in early pregnancy and they let the old ladies join in instead of running an extra class (and the bloke was maybe there to support his partner).

Wasn't til I spoke to the instructor after- did I realise I had done the wrong class! I am such an eejit! I did think some of the abdominal work was a bit much so I didn't really do much of that! Blush!

am off again to it on Wednesday- will make sure I am early- will just wear my glasses and will actually ask the instructor or lifeguard this time! Cringe!

In my defence it was first time I had ever been to that pool and when I came out poolside there were two swimming pools one for swimming and one with a class in- so I just assumed that was my class. How was I supposed to know that the aquanatal class was in the baby pool around the corner!!!

Comma2- I probably would have gone home in happy ignorance! I really enjoyed the class though- you got to wear floating waistbands and was really enjoyable excercise (which is usually an oxymoron!)

So I am almost expecting to be disappointed by aquanatal tonight!
