Cold remedies when pregnant?

I'm 34 weeks pregnant and have a rotten cold. Runny nose, sore throat, sneezing etc, not totally debilitating but I'm knackered already from the world's squirmiest baby and wondering if anyone here knows anything I could take to get rid of it any quicker and build up my immune system a bit?

Obviously lemsip and so on is out because of the aspirin, but just wondering if things like the fizzy vitamin C tablets are any good, if anyone has any other herbal-type suggestions or should I just stick to orange juice and feeling sorry for myself?

Paracetamol is OK.

And squeeze a real lemon, put in a mug, add hot water and honey (or sugar if you have no honey). Drink.

(I wouldn't go for vit C - it is really not advised early in pg, although it might be OK at 34w)

I have a cold (17 weeks) and got blackcurrant throat pastilles which the pharmacist in Boots said were fine. They are not super-strength but they help a bit - something to add to your stockpile.

(She said avoid menthol though)
