20 week scan at C+W - full bladder needed?

I've got my 20 week scan tomorrow and it seems as though some hospitals ask for a full bladder and others don't bother. Does anyone have experience of C+W? TIA

No- at 20 weeks you won't need a full bladder.

I thought by 20 weeks the uterus is far enough up in the abdomen to get a clear picture.

I'd have a glass of water before you go in just in case.

My hospital never bothered about it, for the 12 week or the 20 week scan (or the 34 week one I had the other day). Maybe it depends on what machinery they have?

This probably too late - but no - I didn't need a full bladder.
