Is it always the case that you feel a 2nd baby move before your 1st?

I felt dd move at 18 weeks and am now 18 weeks with dc2 but haven't felt anything. I thought it was normal to feel babies move earlier in subsequent pregnancies. What have been other people's experiences?

With dc3 my placenta was on the front wall and i didn't feel her until about 22 weeks. Don't worry

ds2 @ 14 weeks
dd1 @ 22 weeks
dd2 (current pg) @ 16 weeks

I'm now 39 weeks with my second, didn't feel any movements until about 19 weeks, and then only little flutters as my placenta is on the front. With my first I felt movements from 17 weeks.

My first - 18-19 weeks
Second - 21 weeks
Third - 22 weeks - anterior placenta

I always thought as you did and was worried with my second but not so with the third.

1st 14 weeks
2nd 20 weeks

No - have decided it depends on the baby and their personality!

No. 1 - 17 weeks
No. 2 - 22 weeks
No. 3 - 13 weeks (!), dp could feel her wriggling and kicking with his hand on my belly at 15 weeks.

Interestingly, the more wriggly baby was the quieter child. I have high hopes for this one, therefore...

No. 1 - 18 weeks
No. 2 - now 19 weeks and think i might have felt something yesterday for the first time but nothing since.

DD1 - 17 weeks
DD2 - 16/17 weeks
DS1 - 20 weeks!!
