Baby weights and lengths of labours for your babies...

I know this has been done soooo many times but I'm curious! My bump is huge this time and everyone keeps telling me I am going to have a massive 2nd baby and long labour.

Dd was 7lb 1oz and I had a 2 hour labour.

dd2 2.5 hour (max) 8lbs 14

I'm thinking 'ignore them'

ds 6lb 15oz 4.5 hours
dd 9lb 4oz 5 hours

Oh it's a load of crap. DD was a 7lber and had a 2 day labour with 6 hours of pushing.

ds 8lb 12oz - 23 hours.
dd 7lb 120z - 9 hours.

Never heard this before!

DS1 14 hours (induced) 7lb 6 and pushed for at least 2 hours
DS2 4 hours active labour 8lb 9 and pushed for about an hour

Ds1 10hrs 7lb 6oz
Ds2 5hrs 7lb 13oz
Dd 3hrs 9lb 4oz
Ds3 2-3hrs 8lb 13oz

Agree it's a load of rubbish lol! And you might have a little one in there with a lot of water so ignore them

DS1 7lbs - just under 4 hours

DS2 9lb 10 - just under 2 hours

DD 9lbs - less than an hour.

Its bollocks. My smallest child was my longest birth

DS1 5lbs 10oz (35 wks) just over 4 hours
DS2 9lbs 2ozs (term) an hour and a half.
DS3 7lbs 7ozs & DS4 8lbs both CS.

7lbs.
About 82 hours.
It was fun.

dd1 6lb 14 6hours

dd2 8lb 14 1 hour 50 mins

ds3 8lb 3 2 hours

ds4 8lb 3 50 mins

both dds around 8lb, but dd1 took about 2 and a half days, dd2 took 10 hours

ds1 9lb 13oz 3hrs
dd 6lb 1|2oz and ds2 7lb 2oz (twins) 47 mins for both!!

dd1 12 hours, 3 hours of pushing, forceps 8lb 9oz

ds1 3 hours start to finish 7lb 14oz (admittedly he was a month early)

ds2 3.5 hours 9lb 7
dd2 1 hour 30 mins from start to finish (4 pushes) 8lb 3 oz

the last 2 were induced at 38 weeks so I guess they would have been heavier

all labours are different though

Thanks everyone. I am telling myself that they are jealous that my first labour was short and good.

Very interesting to see how different your labours and baby weights are.

DT's prem labour over a couple of days, ended in emergency c sec. 2lb 4oz and 2lb 14oz.

DD 10lb 2oz and 8 hours.

DD two and a half days ending in EMCS.9lb 5oz

DD1 7 oz 9 something, induced, 24 h, 20 min pushing.
And I was gigantic, gained 50 lbs, and a lot of it was amniotic and other fluid. They thought babe would be 9 lbs. Not to scare me or anything.
