Hmm. Wouldn't count on it. I didn't even have contractions per se. Bone pain, went in for observations and had the baby 37 minutes later. Glad I didn't stay longer in the library...

This is my third too and I've never had a show either.

In fact both my labours started with the waters breaking spontaneously which is apparently not that common!

thats how it was with my second son, went to get checked out because of husband practically having a nervous breakdown, i fully expected to get sent home, 23mins later bubs had arrived! i think i am just waiting to see something that is letting me know things are happening, other 2 were early so i feel sooooo overdue, i am only 38/39 weeks

I know what you mean! My first was 5 weeks early, so when I had DS2 I was ready with bag packed at 35 weeks.

Then he went full term and I felt 5 weeks overdue

hi newbump, yeah my other 2 started with waters breaking and then hours later labour started. i hope waters go again b4 this time cause at leas you know your on your way, sometimes i am having BH's and thinking i am in labour but without my waters breaking. why is it so weird having your 3rd! i was never like this with other 2!!
