Daft question probably..but Gaviscon in early pregnancy?

Im 6 weeks pregnant and suffering awful sickness bordering on hyperemesis..and as a result I feel like my digestive tract has been blow torched..DH bought me some gaviscon..but Im not actually sure if its safe in the first 3 months..has anyone else taken it this early?

Can't help so will bump for you.

And I'm still annoyed - 6 years on - with the pharmacist who looked as if I was asking for a large vodka when I asked which indigestion stuff was safe in pregnancy... Grr...

I needed indigestion stuff all the way through my pg with ds, so much so that we were tempted to name him Gaviscon or Rennie .

No ill-effects, despite swigging it from the bottle .

gaviscon is fine and you can get it on prescription to save some ££££

I drank a bottle every couple of days throughout my first pregnancy. Reached the point where I would gag whilst trying to force it down in the second.

Definitely swig from the bottle.

Hmm - Gaviscon as a name. I like it.
