Almost 16wks pregnant with DC2 and keep getting weird little episodes when I go all shaky and sometimes break out into a cold sweat - makes me feel really ill. Has anyone else had this? I vaguely remember getting occasionally shaky when pregnant with DD1 but nothing like this. Been trying to identify when it happens, thought caffeine might be a trigger because i have maybe one caffeinated drink a day and it sometimes happens after that but sometimes it just seems to be if I haven't eaten for a couple of hours and generally wears off once I've shovelled down some food. Anyone had anything else like this? Is it just your body's way of telling you to eat regularly while pregnant?

I seem to me that what you have sounds like hypoglycemia (not enough sugar in your blood).
I'm diabetic and have exactly the same symptoms if I get low blood sugar.
You may want to inform your GP /MW about it.

Hi itsalwaysthequietones, what did the mw said?
Sorry I'm curious!

Low blood pressure possibly. Mine has been a constant 100/60 during this pg and I sometimes get episodes of feeling nauseous and dizzy with very hot hands and chest, then Jane-Austin swooning.

It's worse after rushing around and then stopping for a break. Definitely mention to your MW.
