Maternity swimming costumes

I have few questions:

DD has just started swimming lessons with me in the pool too. I am going to need a new costume soon so was wondering if I should buy a maternity one or normal one?

Would a maternity one be too big for me now ( although I already look about 3mths anyway!) or should I just outgrow a normal one for now. I will need a maternity one at some point as I enjoy taking DD swimming at our local pool anyway, plus theres her lessons.

any thoughts?

i found a normal one stretched fine over even huge 3rd time round full term bump

I bought a maternity swimming costume and it hardly covers my bum. My normal one fits much better!

I bought a cheap tankini from Asda for £5 and has so far seen me through this pregnancy (31 wks) it stretched nicely over my bump and more comfy than all in one.
I just bought a bigger size when I was about 11 weeks, am normally an 8, and I bought a 12, has been brilliant
Dont waste your money on specific maternity crap

If your current one is decent, keep wearing it. Hopefully it will last your pregnancy and you can treat yourself to a new one afterwards. My normal one still fits over 26 wk bump.
