So happy to have a 36/37 week scan today that shows my placenta is finally in a good position and no longer low lying.
Thought I'd share to give anyone hope in same position.
Now I just have to come to terms with the fact that I'll be having another baby in a few weeks - Argh!

That'g great news.I had a scan at 34 weeks ( now 38) to check on a low lying placenta, and it is now classed as high, meaning that I can go ahead with a water birth at home. Until I had that scan I felt as if I couldn't make any proper plans. The vast majority of low placentas do move, but it's lovely to know for sure. Good luck with everything. lou X

That's great! I know the relief myself as with my last pregnancy I was in and out of hospital with bleeding due to placenta previa until about 34wks when it finally moved up and away... Here's hoping your birth is a breeze Lots of good luck!

That's great - just had my 28 week scan and it's still low Hoping to see movement at my 32 week scan. Thanks for positive news.

Glad to hear it Plimple - I had the same experience last time but mine moved too and I went on to have a water birth at hospital which is what I planned. Now pg with DC2 and placenta fine at 20 week scan.

Fingers crossed for you Mumsie.

Good luck Mumsie, mine hadn't moved by 32 weeks, so don't panic if yours is same.
