in my pubic bone. This is baby no 3 and although I was a little more achey last time round then the first, but this time it hurts! It hurts more when I've been more active or if i've been sitting for too long. It feels like someone's kicked e in the front bottom!!

Are these just normal, getting a bit older, pains?

Hiya Rodeo,
Im on my 2nd preg, 23 weeks (ish) preg, and have been really suffering with pains like that!! I find walking really hurts after about 10minutes, and like you, i can't easily get comfy to sit down!!

I have also been feeling this - I am 27 weeks, 2nd baby. I notice it when I get up after sitting down for a while - it feels as if I've been riding a horse, and I have to walk that way at first. As I usually then have to go to the loo I look quite a sight in the office.

It might be symphysis pubis dysfunction. I had this during my second pregnancy and needed referral to a physio. Haven't got time to post any more at the mo, but if you do a search on it, there's lots of info. It's not something to get stressed about, bt you might need some treatment.
HTH .

Have this as well - started about 14 weeks now 23 weeks. Think it's to do with ligaments stretching - find that taking sometime to sit with my feet up (bit tricky as I've got 3 other kids!)

Thank you everyone!

I'll mention it to mw when I see her next. Led my dd in some pony races yesterday so I think the running has made it worse.

Good excuse for some feet up time, I think!

Yes, I've got similar symptoms too. My pubic bone hurts just after getting up, when I've been walking too much, when I try to shut a door with my foot. It's not excruciating yet but I'm so worried that it'll develop into SPD.

So, is it possible just to have pubic bone pains without the bone actually seperating?

Also, will it go back to normal after the birth or will I have trouble now for the rest of my life?

I'm 30 weeks btw and the pain just started 2 weeks ago.

Yep, baby no 2 and i feel the same.

Sometyimes it pulls, sometimes it just aches/ hurts.
Worst when i've been sat at my PC for hours and then get up, OWWWWW.
Also have to kind of hold it when i cough or sneeze, feels like weird.
