Too long to wait for ante natal app?

Hi all. Am 40+1wks today. My other 3 dc have been late so i am expecting a long wait. My midwife is on Holiday for 2wks and told me to go to the local drop in for further app. I have found out it is closed for a week so next time i will see a midwife will be next monday. I just think it seems a long time to wait. No particular reason but would like to know everything is ok. How would you feel and should i ring the antenatal assessment unit or is that being silly?

Not an expert by any means (pregnany with first DC).

However, I wouldn't hesitate to call the antenatal assessment unit. They will be able to tell you if this is too late, and if so what you should do, or put your mind a rest. Probably within 5 mins.
